Jetour boxy SUV series reaches 700,000 global sales

Boxy SUVs have grown in popularity worldwide in recent years, pushing the rapid development of this market segment. More consumers now choose vehicles that combine urban practicality with capable off-road performance.

Jetour stands out in the global boxy SUV segment. As of the end of May 2026, cumulative sales of its boxy SUV series have reached 700,000 units. Notably, the T2 series surpassed 500,000 cumulative global sales in just 33 months, making it the fastest boxy SUV worldwide to hit this milestone. The performance reflects wide market recognition of Jetour's product strength and brand value.

A lifestyle choice, not just an off-road vehicle

Growing interest in outdoor activities and personalised driving has made scenario-focused mobility a major trend, and Jetour has seized the opportunity. Rather than confining its boxy SUV series to the performance-first logic of traditional off-roaders, the brand has struck a balance between off-road capability and personal expression.

Take the Jetour T2. Its petrol version pairs a 2.0T engine with an 8AT transmission, while the T2 PHEV features the 455kW Hybrid C-DM off-road system — balancing power, smoothness and efficiency for both city commuting and weekend adventures.

Its rugged boxy silhouette and high-ground-clearance stance set it apart from conventional urban SUVs, and a wide range of off-road styling kits and exclusive accessories let owners make the car their own.

Accessible off-roading through technology

For most owners, regular outdoor trips do not involve extreme terrain. They want ease and safety rather than outright capability.

The Jetour T series answers that with an XWD fully automatic intelligent four-wheel drive system and a 7+X one-touch off-road mode, letting drivers with little experience handle sand, mud and gravel with confidence.

Safety validated in the world's harshest conditions

The T series is developed to global testing standards and validated in extreme environments, from Middle Eastern heat to North Asian cold, so it adapts to conditions across very different markets.

The flagship T2 has earned a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating, along with Angola Car of the Year, Chile Recommended Car of the Year and the South African Car of the Year Award.

Built on a global operation system

Jetour has entered 100 countries and regions, with a global sales and service network of more than 2,000 outlets, covering both left- and right-hand drive markets.

Guided by its Travel+ strategy, Jetour will keep developing both new energy and advanced fuel-powered vehicles, and continue expanding the boxy SUV line-up for customers worldwide.
